My work ranges from culture and travel to tech and science, with a particular focus on wildlife conservation, sustainability, and environmental reporting.

About Rebecca
Since writing my first digital article in 2014, I’ve covered everything from giant water batteries in Switzerland to hurricane hunters in Florida, reporting for both local lifestyle media and global newsrooms. While the stories are varied, I approach every project with curiosity, combining rigorous research and thoughtful interviewing with eye-catching visuals.
With a focus on long-form articles, I work across platforms and have produced digital interactives, television features, and data‑led projects, with work recognized by the Society for News Design. You may have seen my work online, in print, or on television, for outlets including CNN International, Compare Retreats, and Tatler Asia.
Originally from Edinburgh, Scotland, I've been based in Hong Kong since 2015 and have an MA (hons) in English literature from the University of St Andrews.
