About Rebecca

With experience in both lifestyle media and global newsrooms, I've written across everything from giant water batteries in Switzerland to hurricane hunters in Florida. While the stories are varied, I approach every project with curiosity, combining rigorous research and thoughtful interviewing with eye-catching visuals.

With a particular focus on long-form articles, I work across platforms and have produced digital interactives, television features, and data‑led projects, with work recognized by the Society for News Design.

Originally from Edinburgh, Scotland, I've been based in Hong Kong since 2015 and have an MA (hons) in English literature from the University of St Andrews. Currently, I'm a features writer at CNN International.
